Have you ever heard the rain on your wedding day suggests a happy marriage? Well, Samantha and Chase should be double-happy because it rained twice - on the day of their engagement photoshoot and during the wedding ceremony! Barn at Bee Cliff is one of the most accommodating barn wedding venues in Tennessee - it provides options for both - indoor and outdoor ceremonies if needed.
Both times the rain came from nowhere in the midst of the perfect sunny day! It was a disappointment for Samantha - no bride wants her carefully done hair and make-up ruined and the guests soaking. But she was a fearless bride - without a blink, the ceremony was quickly moved under the roof. Luckily, the Barn at Bee Cliff in Elizabethton, TN is a very accommodating barn wedding venue in Tennessee - they relocated everything inside, leaving one of the walls open to the gorgeous river view and mountains. We could still see the flower arch standing in the water, dropping from the sky…
The rain was a challenge for me as a photographer, especially on the engagement day, because it was a downpour! But we overcame all obstacles! In such a case, I usually put the couple under the roof in good light and stay under the rain to get better angles. I couldn't care less about my hair and make-up if I could snap a good shot! Nothing stops me from making the couple happy! It's their day, after all, not mine!
Chase, a Bristol, TN native, met Samantha while they were both working in a grocery store. They started dating two weeks before Samantha was scheduled to move with her family to another state. But she was too scared to confess this to him because she liked him so much! :) Their love survived a two-year distance dating. Finally, they tied the knot on September 2022 during an intimate ceremony with family and friends in Elizabethton, TN. They tied the knot literally - the wooden stand with the robes to bind was part of the ceremony, and they each took their share, tying it!
Besides the unexpected rain (which contributed to the misty and fairy-tale atmosphere that suited the beautiful couple so much), everything else about their wedding was perfect! The dress was incredibly intricate and looked so good on Samantha's slim figure! The bridesmaids' emerald green and minty green dresses coordinated wonderfully with the glowing greenery of the trees and the river's water. The exit with the sparkles and the couple's passionate kiss was my absolute favorite part of the day! I wish these two a long and happy marriage. Although it looks like the rain has already taken care of it.. :-)

SAMANTHA’S REVIEW:
“Elena was an amazing photographer. The photos she took captured the memories, and I smile every time I look through them. She also braved the rain to take some amazing photos. I would recommend her to anyone.”
